Self Defense for Kids in Rugby

What are the Options regarding Self Defense for Kids in Rugby
There are many clubs who are teaching Martial Arts and the children learn some excellent basic skills. However, very few clubs are teaching Self Defense for kids in Rugby.

Kids do need to learn discipline, respect and fundamentals of Martial arts but they also need to have many safety awareness skills taught on a regular basis and all in a fun environment.

Many parents think that they have this area covered but kids do need to be reminded often with the information postively reinforced.

Is a really good program available that teaches Self Defense for kids in Rugby? There certainly is, our very own program is run in conjunction with Alberta Ju-Jitsu Association and Alberta Kid Safe Danger Awareness Program.

It is important that you find a school that will teach the fundamentals in a fun environment. Kids need that fun element in order to learn and to help them want to come back each and every week.

We ensure kids have that fun environment, teach them the fundammental skills and also cover the all important Danger Awareness aspects.

Do we Require any Equipment or special clothing? The children will require the Martial arts Uniform (Gi) that can be bought very inexpensively through the club, other than that there is no other special equipment or clothing required.

This all sounds very good but how much is all this going to cost? We provide this service very inexpesively at just $40 - $50 per month. The only other costs are the Gi and an annual registration with AJJA for Insurance purposes ($25).
