February 2016

Hi,

Happy Monday :)

It's all go, so many new classes and events happening. A Big Thankyou to all who helped on the gates at Newbold RFC, it's important we maintain a good relationship there and it's a job they really appreciate us doing for them. Only 3 more home games this season, if you are available to help for a couple of hours, please let me know:
  • 20th Feb
  • 5th March
  • 2nd April
Another Big Thankyou to all who supported the Free Women's Self Defence Course, we are teaching some essential skills each and every month, you just never know who may benefit from our training so keep sending out invites. The next Course will be held on
  • 27th Feb 10am - 12pm
And Another Big Thankyou to Simon Cox for Organising some Sponsorship from his Company Ball Packaging for 2 New Freestanding Punch Bags, which will be with us in a couple of weeks. To Arches Lane Garage for Sponsoring us for 5 New Striking Shields which we are already putting to good use. Keep sending sponsors this way as there's so much more equipment we still need, mats, punch Bags, speed balls, Medicine balls, benches etc

We have started the adult Grappling and Adult Sparring sessions on Mondays at 7pm, you are most welcome to come along and join in the fun there. Open to individuals of all skill levels.

We have also started the Kids Competition training sessions on Wednesdays at 6:15pm. It's a great way of giving them a fun, very energetic session where they will learn new skills on the bags and pads as well as an introduction to Grappling (wrestling) where they can try out there newly learned skills in a safe, controlled session.

I am now organising daytime group sessions and private / Semi private training in both Ju Jitsu and fitness training, if you know anyone who is keen to get themselves in great shape, feel free to point them my way and we can discuss the options available.

Lots more to come - Kids Fun Days, Movie Days and Training Seminars, watch this space.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me. See you in class.

All The Very Best to You.

Best Regards
