"I can't imagine my life without it"
All I can say is since the moment I stepped foot in the academy, there has never been a day where I wanted to stop, Ju-Jitsu has completely changed my life in more ways than one, and I can't even imagine my life without it anymore, I always look forward to training, and no matter how bad my day is, or how tired I am from work, all that goes away when I step foot on the mat.

Thank you Malcolm Bale ( Ju jitsu Rugby)...

"An Excellent Motivator & Teacher"
I'd just like to express my gratitude to have found such a great club for me and my daughter to train. The energy in the Kids class is fantastic. It really is a family environment focused on serious training with lots of fun and surprises to keep us guessing what sensei Malcolm has got up his sleeve.

We love going there and my daughter can’t wait for the next lesson. It was hard for me at 44 to start training again with my daughter who is now 14 but sensei Malcolm who is around the same age give me great inspiration, made us feel very welcome and is an excellent motivator and teacher.

His attention to detail is second to none and at grading’s………belts are not just given out….. They are earned through hard work, attitude and a motivation to succeed. I cannot recommend this club enough….5/5 Star rating.....

"At the young age of 47yrs...."
At the young age of 47yrs I decided to take up Martial Arts. Having never trained in the Martial Arts scene, I looked into various styles and disciplines. I had trained for many years as a Boxer, but alas this was some time ago.

Two years previous, I had experienced severe back trouble, to the extent that I had to have an operation to rectify. None the less, I looked into various Martial Arts and their schools that were local to me. I had researched Ju-Jitsu and just decided that this was for me. However with my age, back issues and having never trained in this environment I did have some concerns.

I trawled the web-sites and even went and visited some Dojo’s, Gyms etc. First impressions were not that good. That’s not to say there were bad, they just didn’t tick all my boxes.

I came across the Ju-Jitsu Rugby website and dropped them a mail asking some questions etc. Sensei Malcolm replied to my answers regards to age, back problems etc and asked me to meet up on the training night. On entering the Dojo, Sensei Malcolm introduced himself and generally placed me at ease. The students were about to start and Sensei asked me to join the lesson without any obligations as a try out etc. I would be lying if I said that entering a new environment at my age was not daunting but I agreed.

Any issues I had, were soon laid to rest by the person standing next to me on the mat, “Hi may name is Steve, your name is?” What can I say? The night went really well and I am here a year later, still enjoying the training. Along with gaining confidence, fitness etc, it has done wonders for my back.

Sensei Malcolm has great patience and ease about him when explaining the moves etc. The fellow students are great and are eager to acquire the knowledge of Ju-Jitsu, but more important are willing / eager to show the techniques to other students. The grading process brought this to light. Everyone within the Dojo genuinely wants to help you succeed.

I cannot say enough good things about Ju-Jitsu Rugby and what it has done for me. I make the 30+ mile round trip for each session.

Do what I did, try it out, you may be very surprised. I was.

I am so happy both my kids are attending Ju Jitsu Rugby Little Dragons classes. The new skills have been so wonderful for them! They both LOVE the environment!

"My Children Are More Confident"
My Children are more confident, and they have learnt good skills to help them defend themselves physically and how to get out of a tricky situations before they escalate.
The children don't realise that the games are helping them to learn new skills.
I was impressed by the children's class and decided to join the adults class for my own confidence and fitness and I enjoy every minute..

"Our Son Has blossomed at Ju Jitsu..."
We went along for a trial based on a friends feedback, had a couple of trial sessions, and he hasn't looked back since. The classes are well planned, run, instil self confidence, and most important of all are fun for all of the children involved. Each child is encouraged to achieve at their own level, whilst learning the self discipline necessary to succeed within the wider class framework.
We have recommended Rugby Ju Jitsu to other parents, and will continue to do so..

"Ju-Jitsu is teaching him to focus..."
I wanted to find a martial art which I thought would be most beneficial to my 6 year old son for self-defence for now and the future.
Ju-Jitsu is already teaching him how to focus, have discipline and respect in what he is doing even away from class. His mental as well as physical fitness is improving all the time.
He is progressing well under the watchful eye of Sensei Malcolm Bale who encourages all students to do their best at all times. He mixes both fun and games with Ju-Jitsu training discipline, which seems to work well as my son looks forward every Tuesday to turning up (even early so as to help with the mats !).
As a parent I realise that this is a long term effort, years not weeks or months, of continuous effort and welcome Sensei Malcolm Bale's continuous reminders of what we need to do at home as well as for training days, if you want your child to progress.
I would recommend Ju Jitsu Rugby to people who want their child to be able to learn respect, focus and discipline that will be with them for their life.
